who else hates the new site navigation menu? it's fine for the main page, it looks all nice and neat, but on my journal it just looks...ew. I worked too hard on my layout for this big blue bar to ruin it, dammit.

Nope, it's LJ's newest "improvement" and I hate it, I'm trying to find a code to hide it on my LJ. I can handle it on the main page but not on my journal...

Weird. This is what I see:



You can set your page to go to normal/plain view (the white page on my journal) by going into your settings and disabling customised pages, which means your journal will be the same, but your comment pages will be old view.

I did that, and I clicked on something (about changing the view of the journal) in Account Settings/Display and it reverted it back to the way the LJ topbar used to look. It's weird looking, but managable I suppose. I just wish I could move that top nagivation bar up to get rid of that blank space :/

I'm still using the old version because I hated the "new" version, so thank god I can't see the Blue Bar of Doom (saw your screencap). Internet companies (talking to you, gmail!) always "improve" things that were perfect!
